Overview
For this project in Motion Design class, we had to choose a product, service, event, or cause we were passionate about, and create a short advertisement that prompted viewers to take action. In addition, we had to use shape, color, sound, lines, typography, and design principles to accomplish this.
Goals
Our project goals included understanding the motion graphics process, familiarizing myself with Adobe After Effects and its functions, learning to brainstorm original ideas, advertising a product and creating a call-to-action through the use of motion, and to experiment with motion.
Specifications
1. Video composition should be 1920x1080.
2. Design 3-4 motion pieces (no more than five seconds per composition) that will be compiled into one motion composition.
3. Motion graphics should use no more than five colors and two fonts.
4. Must include tagline, two impactful words, and a call-to-action.
5. Motion graphics should not include any existing branding from the chosen product.

Process
To better understand the project, I had to decide on what product, service, event, or cause
I am passionate about. Prior to choosing Olipop, my options included: Barnes & Noble,
Love Crunch, and the Nintendo Switch.

I knew I wanted to base my project on a product and/or service as those were items that I am extremely familiar with, and also use in my daily life. In the end, Olipop was chosen since that was the product I could easily imagine "effects" and motion for.

Impactful Words: Healthy, Delicious, Sweet, and Bubbly
The sound of the soda can hissing, carbonation bubbles fizzing, and liquid pouring inspired the energetic mood and colors for my motion, which leads into the style frame.

Style Frame
For the style frame, I wanted to take the familiar colors of Olipop and make it bolder and brighter to communicate energy. As the product is all about being a healthier alternative to soda with its probiotic ingredients, I wanted to focus on that aspect and tie it into energy.
