Overview
For this project in Motion Design, we were tasked to create a title sequence for a piece of media, such as: a TV show, a film, a novel, or a podcast. In addition, we had to include kinetic typography, as well as our choice of images. However, we were not allowed to use any video footages. All used media must be still.
Goals
The main goal for the project was to utilize kinetic typography and still images in an engaging manner as we were limited to photos, shape, and type. As my choice of media to create a title sequence for was Acast's 'This Paranormal Life', I wanted to involve that subject matter of the paranormal and the mystery of the world into my title sequence, leading to a black and white composition of cryptic items that can often be seen as 'cursed', 'mysterious', or 'paranormal'.
Specifications
1. Video composition should be 1920x1080.
2. Title sequence must include music, images, and text (no video).
3. Motion graphics should also include kinetic typography.
4. Must include title of media and credits.
